What this site collects personal data and why we collect it


When visitors leave a comment on this site, we collect data from the comment form, as well as an IP address and browser user agent string to help us detect spam.

The anonymized (also known as a “hash”) string generated from your email address may be provided to the service to help it determine if you are using the Gravatar service. The privacy policy of the service can be found at If your comment is approved, your profile picture will be posted to the public with your comment.


When you upload images to the site, you should not upload images that contain location information (EXIF GPS). Your visitors can download the images from the site and extract the location data.

When you leave a comment on the site, you can opt-in to having your name, email address and site stored as a cookie. This is for your convenience and saves you from having to re-enter your details when leaving other comments. This cookie will be kept for one year.

When you visit the login page, we set a temporary cookie to help your browser determine whether it can accept cookies. These cookies do not contain personal data and are discarded when you close your browser.

In addition, we set a number of cookies to retain login and screen display information when you log in. The login cookie is kept for 2 days and the screen display options cookie is kept for 1 year. How long to store the data
